Nick (00:31.374)
All right, for it, let's go.

Nick (00:35.35)
It's the height differential.

That's the 6-6, Neil. I am the 4-10, Nick. We got a big trade to talk about. We were going to talk a little bit about the draft. We still can talk a little bit about that. Matt Fitzpatrick gets rid of his lead, then figures out a way to win in a playoff. The NBA playoffs are here. Liv is dying. A parachuter crashed into a scoreboard. Some dude sent a standoff on Tinder. We got plenty to talk about. Before we get into all that,

If you're listening live or catching this later, well, we're not live today, but if you normally are listening live, make sure to subscribe to the Height Differential wherever you listen to pods, it, leave a review, follow us on social at Height Differential.

I guess we got to start with the big news. Right before the fireworks went off Thunder over Louisville, Saturday night, phone starts blowing up. Everybody said this was a 0.1 % chance of happening. And because of the Bengals history, I was on board with that 0.1. But the fit is pretty perfect. And on Saturday, it happened. The Bengals gave up their 10th pick for Dexter Lawrence.

Neil (01:44.332)
say zero point.

Yeah.

Neil (01:55.938)
Yeah, mean, surprising. I mean, you heard whispers of it. Like it was kind of like a dream scenario that, you know, the Bengals would actually do something. And the fact that Dexter Lawrence had made it known that he wanted out of New York, wanted a contract extension, wanted to get a little bit more money and was unhappy with his situation in New York. He wanted out and you know, what team needs defensive line, especially interior defensive line, helped the most in the NFL? Well, it's the Cincinnati Bengals.

And so, you know, it was the dream scenario, fans were talking about it. Oh, it would be awesome if we could get him. But as you said, a 0.0001 % chance because the Bengals don't have a history of making trades, especially draft trades. They never trade their draft picks. So it was kind of an afterthought until, you know, you see RappBor tweet something and Schefter tweet something and you got to almost double check yourself to make sure you didn't get got got on Twitter. But it's...

Nick (02:50.541)
For sure.

Neil (02:52.373)
It was real. It was real and it was exciting.

Nick (02:55.342)
Yeah, and look, isn't just that this, the Bengals clearly don't give up draft picks. They're like gold. But these trades don't happen hardly ever. It's the first time that somebody has given up a first round pick for a veteran since the Vikings traded Randy Moss to the Raiders, which was 21 years ago. So.

It doesn't happen very often. This is the first time the Bengals will not have a first round pick since 1989, which was the year after the Superbowl where they were going to pick 27th. And I think they traded back to where they would get multiple picks in the second round. So. Yeah, there had been whispers about this as, but with being Bengals fans, we know that this stuff doesn't happen. We even had BJ Hill on constantly on Twitter or X doing the

be patient or the emoji or the eyeballs several times. And him and Lawrence or Dexter Lawrence are tight from their days in the giant with the giants. But I think it is a perfect fit. And we give Duke Tobin a lot of crap as we should. But in that press conference, what was the main thing that he talked about? Trying to get somebody who could pressure the quarterback.

from the interior and they just they don't make these players. There's not a ton of them that are just around to get and when he became available, they did their due diligence. They started talking with the Giants. I think also what happened is they had the 10th pick and I think they had seven guys that they were really high on and I think the more and more they kind of ran through scenarios. They realized that you know, Caleb Downs might not be there.

Neil (04:22.839)
Yes.

Neil (04:30.189)
Correct. Correct.

Nick (04:50.657)
Monceau or Delaine might not be there at 10, and then we're reaching. So instead of having to deal with that scenario, let's go get this shirt thing. And once they kind of started having talks and realized that they could extend it for 28 million that third year, I think this became what was a no-brainer for Duke and the entire staff.

Neil (04:54.637)
Yes.

Neil (04:59.363)
Yes.

Neil (05:06.573)
Yes.

Neil (05:10.167)
Yeah, I mean it was, yeah, it's an absolute no brainer. I mean, you're not gonna get a better player than Dexter Lawrence at, the 10 pick. You might get some young guy, but with the Bengals draft history and their first round picks and how we've seen time after time and besides, you know, the Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase slam dunks, like time after time, they haven't worked out. I mean, Jamar Stewart's still TBD, but nobody was excited when he got drafted in the first round. You know, Miles Murphy, the verdict's still out on him, but he hasn't exactly been tearing it up at all.

And then even before that, you you go with the William Jacksons and the Dark West Denards and the Billy Prices and like all these first round picks that they sucked. They all sucked. So I have no, I had no trust in Duke Tobin with the 10th pick of getting me somebody that was going to make a difference. So the fact that they could trade this 10th pick straight up for Dexter Lawrence and get that extra year out of him for 20, whatever you said, 20, was it 28 million? Like it was absolutely a no brainer. I mean.

Nick (06:02.477)
28.

Neil (06:07.901)
I still don't like Dutobin, but he finally, finally did something that was noteworthy.

Nick (06:13.249)
Look, and we don't know. He may have tried to pull a trade off like this in the past. That's the thing. Duke is not the end all be all. He's still got to get the approval from upper management. dude, this is a three year. It's now a three year $70 million deal. This is not that outlandish. But also, I don't want to hear people talking about the Bengals not spending money either. Because look at some of the contracts they've got out there. Obviously, with Joe, with T, with Jamar, with

Neil (06:22.945)
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Nick (06:42.189)
Now with Dexter Lawrence, with Boye Mafay, with Brian Cook, like Jonathan Allen, like they're spending money. And you know, here's another thing that this does. Like I, I think it's going to be great for them. Like I think it's going to help the defense, but beyond all of that, it shows that they're at least trying to do something in this Joe Burrow window. And

The last two years have not gone the way they wanted. And the majority of that is because of the defense. Yeah, I know Joe got hurt last year and that played a role, but the defense has, you got to figure out a way to fix it. And we keep talking about if Joe gets getting frustrated with losing seasons or not seeing them do enough. Like this is doing something. So even if they struggle next year, which I don't think they will, but even if they do, like at least Joe's good look back at the front office.

Look, they made this move that nobody thought they would make. So to me, that is something.

Neil (07:48.676)
It's something like you're putting the pieces to like the pieces of the puzzle are there It's up to Zach Taylor and Al Golden to put the pieces together and make this thing fit and make this thing work So yes, you've got the talent there So props the front office is you know bringing in some guys this this offseason that should be the pieces that make this thing work to get us you know back to the playoffs and to get us hopefully to the AFC title in the Super Bowl but

You gotta coach them. You gotta put them in the right positions to make plays. I, I mean, this is step one, but there's a couple other steps that need to happen. So Al Golden, the ball's in your court. Make this thing work.

Nick (08:27.405)
Well, the last time they had pretty good guys up front with DJ Reader and Ogunjobi, they did have good teams and their defense was good. So.

Neil (08:35.959)
Yeah, you also had Trey Hendrickson rushing from the edge, which we don't.

Nick (08:39.073)
They did. They did, but they just sound boy a mafia to try to do that. Miles Murphy is, is coming along. You gotta hope you get a little something extra out of Shemar Stewart. mean, like that's the thing too. Like we haven't had any guys that are getting pressure up the middle and that's just going to make it easier for everybody else. Brian Burns for the giants had 16 and a half sacks last year. Like I know Dexter Lawrence has only had a half sack and it was a down year considered for him.

Neil (08:48.12)
Yeah.

Nick (09:08.813)
But Burns had 16 and a half and a lot of that is credited to the fact that what the numbers on Dexter Lawrence is he's being doubled 70 to 75 % of the time over the last two seasons.

Neil (09:21.987)
Yeah, I mean, you talk about him being a down year in his PFF ranking last year for interior defensive lineman, the NFL's ninth. He was still ninth. In the year before that, he was second. And then in 22 and 23, he was back to back first. So he's been first, first, second, and then elbow injury. Yeah. So this dude is, has been at the top of the league in his position for the last four years. I expect him to be the same this year. And like I said, we

Nick (09:34.765)
It was also a coming off an elbow injury that he suffered the year before.

Neil (09:51.875)
You can't screw this up. You can't screw this up.

Nick (09:55.118)
No, it's what's here's another number since 2021, he's amounted over 1100 double teams. That's over the last five seasons. He's the only player in quadruple digits. You want to who ranks third during that timeframe. It's BJ Hill and that's not because like BJ Hill is a good player. It's because there's nobody else on that.

Neil (10:16.547)
I'll be checking it.

Nick (10:24.513)
Defensive line over the last couple years that anybody's had to worry about so Like they're able to double team him and just know that not now you've got BJ Hill there along with Jonathan Allen We'd some other numbers like the Giants last year with out Dexter Lawrence on the field. They were 32nd and yards per attempt 31st and sack rate 26 and pass success rate 23 and pressure rate with him on the field that those numbers changes 7 8

9 and 10.

Neil (10:56.931)
So you're saying he's a difference maker.

Nick (10:57.261)
Like, yes. have you seen all the numbers that Warren Sharp has been putting out all week on Twitter? Like, he put out the pressures when aligned at no-stackle since 22. Dexter Lawrence is 108. And the next is Vita Vey at 32.

And he made a good point too, like you look at the Ravens, Tyler Lindemann just left and signed the richest contract as a center in NFL history. And like he has a chance to really be a game changer and direct opposing offenses. And the Bengals haven't had this piece. I mean, you look what they were able to do with Geno Atkins.

And how much they've missed having a player like him. Like DJ Reader was a good player, but he wasn't, he wasn't going to sack the QB like Dexter Lawrence can. And I don't know. I'm just, I'm still in shock that this happened. Absolutely shocked. Like, like you said, when it first came across, cause I got a text from my OGA at Morehead State who's a Bengals fan and he's working in Hawaii. And

I mean, we still talk bingles every, and he's the one that texts me. And as soon as he texts me, I'm looking to see if Paul Deaner's putting anything out there before I fall for this. And I just, still can't believe it's real.

Nick (12:37.899)
Wait, and you've got another point. You've got Whitworth on McAfee today. And he's kind of throwing some shade. I love it. I love how pro bingo Andrew Whitworth has been over the last couple of years. Look, and a lot of people are saying, you could have had Trey and kept your 10th pick. Right? And he would have maybe cost a little more than what you're paying Dexter Lawrence. I was done with that show.

Neil (12:44.835)
Yeah.

Nick (13:07.765)
I was done with that. Like I'm done with it. And this is the point that Whitworth made on McAfee. Yeah, he's in a third down situation or where you need to get to the quarterback. There's nobody better in the NFL, but opposing teams can run the football right at Trey Hendrickson. Like he's not that good against the run. And that's just a fact. He ranks near the bottom. And now you got a guy that is going to be on the field all three

Neil (13:11.363)
Yeah, I'm done with it too.

Nick (13:37.365)
all three downs and is great against both the run and the pass. And besides that, I was done with as the world turns with Trey Hedrickson and him crying about his contract every five days.

Neil (13:49.473)
I agree with that as well. I agree.

Nick (13:54.678)
Can you give the Bengals some credit?

Neil (13:56.964)
Yeah, I did. I said this is step one. This is a big step. know, it is because I mean, because I still know who our coaching staff is and I don't have trust in them, but it's a wait and see. This is an optimistic step and I'm excited about it, but I'm still not sold on Al Golden or Zach Taylor, mostly Al Golden. We'll see.

Nick (13:58.178)
Like, it's just step one.

Nick (14:19.885)
I get it, but what did he have to work with last year?

Neil (14:25.58)
I don't know, but he...

Nick (14:25.953)
You didn't even have Trey for- you had Trey for six games.

Neil (14:28.643)
Yeah, but she took a really bad defense and somehow got worse.

Nick (14:33.259)
Yeah, could you replace veteran linebackers with rookies? That was your change of the defense.

Neil (14:38.017)
Yeah, the veteran linebackers suck too. The Logan Wilson doesn't have a job right now.

Nick (14:43.169)
This was two years ago when Logan Wilson was, I'm talking about the two year ago, Logan Wilson, who came back and was your starter again last year. Like there was no way that that defense was going to get better. And it was asinine that the front office threw that together and said, all right, new defensive coordinator, go fix it all. Like that's asinine.

Neil (14:51.619)
Any questions?

Nick (15:06.133)
And that's why you had to do stuff like this or Joe was going to start getting frustrated and Joe was going to ask his way out of there because you can't you can't do it that way.

Does it concern you at all that his numbers dipped last year? Do you think that was due to frustration? Was it still due to the elbow?

Neil (15:26.883)
little bit of all of it. I it was frustration, the elbow, like you mentioned, the double teams and he's still great at ninth, ninth in the entire NFL is interior defensive lineman. I mean, you talk about a down year, I would love to have the ninth best interior defensive lineman on my team for the last 20 years. Like, no, I'm not concerned. And I think he got what he wanted. He got out of New York. He got, got that extra year, got some money. I think he's motivated. I think, I think it'll, I think it'll work. It'll work.

Nick (15:57.1)
think he's very motivated and I think he's super excited to be there. I mean, he's one of his quotes is I owe it to them to go out there and dominate. And God, I would love nothing more than that. I mean, he's got ties with not only BJ Hill, he's got ties with Miles Murphy, he's got ties with T Higgins from their days at Clemson. He seems genuinely excited when

Neil (16:07.895)
Let's do it.

That's what you like to do. That's what you want to do.

Neil (16:19.107)
Yeah

Nick (16:25.441)
And you talk about Trey, what was the opposite of being excited? And just his saga, every training camp, dealing with that. And then he gets on stage and, don't I look good in this uniform? No, it's a terrible uniform.

Neil (16:28.899)
correct.

Neil (16:38.691)
The Ravens, can we talk about that? They have, that logo is awful. It's a, black on black helmet looks just awful. It's, it's be the worst logo in the NFL with that stupid bird face. Looks like somebody who said it looked like Marv from Home Alone. Like it's awful.

Nick (16:44.107)
It's a terrible uniform. You look like an idiot.

Nick (16:56.653)
Marv? I've never looked at it that close to see that it looks like Marv. Where did you-

Neil (17:02.815)
It looks like water from home alone. I'll send it to you.

Nick (17:06.294)
So then the first home game of the season.

They gonna introduce defense?

Neil (17:17.421)
Ooh, that's a good question. I think you probably do. I mean, because there's a bunch of new guys on the defensive side. I think you probably go defense, especially when you got a guy like Dexter Lawrence. Not much has changed on the offensive side. We're all excited about that. It's great. It's great. But the fans all know, we know those guys. So defense, give them their due, at least for game one, because after game one, there's no telling what it'll be like.

Nick (17:28.052)
And go.

Nick (17:31.851)
That's good. That's a good day. You don't want it to change.

Neil (17:44.865)
But yeah, them their due for game one at home and let's introduce them first.

Nick (17:50.893)
Look, obviously their defense is gonna be better than what it was last year. I think they're still hosed at linebacker. There's no doubt. mean, you're banking on progression from Demetrius Knight and Barrett Carter. You didn't bring in a veteran like you said you were going to. I guess that's still a possibility where they could bring in a veteran for not a big deal, but the defense is gonna be better. The pass rush is gonna be better. And they went out and I mean, if...

If you said this is what they're gonna do before they did it, I'd be like, all right, I'm good with that. And I think you would have to agree with that.

Neil (18:26.391)
Yeah, I would agree with that. So what are you gonna do on Thursday night? I was just about to ask you.

Nick (18:29.217)
But now I don't know what I'm gonna do what.

Well, we're going to say the same thing at the exact same time. It's not appointment television anymore, I'll tell you that.

Neil (18:35.544)
Yeah.

Neil (18:41.155)
It'll background noise.

Nick (18:43.853)
I mean, we're playing golf on Friday. I might go out and try to get a nine in or something after work to get ready for the big match on Friday. But I don't know. It's going to be interesting. And I am going, one of my favorite things about the draft is watching you complain about whoever they pick.

Neil (19:08.931)
It ain't just me, brother. I mean, we went through the slew of first round picks and we can throw John Ross into that mix as well. We've gone through the slew of first round picks from the Cincinnati Bengals that have been absolute dog crap. A lot of them have sucked, except for your slam dunk of Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase, because you couldn't mess those up. You couldn't mess those

Nick (19:17.172)
You can throw a lot of guys into that mix.

Nick (19:32.289)
Well, Omerius Mems has been pretty good.

Neil (19:35.565)
So far. Yeah. Sure.

Nick (19:37.205)
He's been pretty good.

Neil (19:40.877)
There's been a lot more misses than hits.

Nick (19:43.201)
There is. Look, and what set them up for that Super Bowl run is they drafted well. So, and then they added a bunch of veterans and free agency to complement it. I don't know. DJ Turner, like Miles Murphy, those guys really had a turnaround year. There's two guys they drafted. Hope they take another step. But I don't know. It's gonna be interesting. Just, I don't really care about Thursday night, now at all.

Neil (20:11.595)
No, and we'll be at the Reds game on Friday during the second and third rounds, so we won't even really get to watch what we need in round two, which hopefully is a linebacker.

Nick (20:21.578)
Yeah, there are several mocks that have potentially Joey Rodriguez going to them in the second round. The Texas Tech linebacker, which I would be all for that. I mean, there's several positions they still, the positions they still need to, you know, take care of in the draft. still need a slot corner. They still need a swing tackle in case, because they don't, you don't want Cody Ford being your swing tackle in case one of your tackles goes down.

So you still need some depth there, but the importance of the draft has definitely diminished with the big trade that went down on Saturday night.

Neil (21:01.239)
Yeah, I would love Jacob Rodriguez to be a Cincinnati Bangle. Would absolutely love it. If it's exactly what we would need, if he's there, you gotta take him.

Nick (21:10.06)
Yeah, look, I don't know all the prospects deep enough to go in really deeper than that. I've listened to podcasts, but I'd just be still on what other people say. yeah, give me Joey Rodriguez in the second round.

Neil (21:25.229)
Jacob, guy, Jacob. Stop saying Jacob. You said it twice.

Nick (21:26.89)
Jacob, and I said it twice. I said, well, why didn't you correct me the first time, dude?

Neil (21:32.169)
I just let you roll with it, my dog, I just let you roll with it.

Nick (21:34.976)
Well, I'm glad I said it twice so you could correct me. But I was excited about the potential of Caleb Downs being a bingo.

Neil (21:44.321)
Yeah, we do need some safety help, but yeah. you can't, but like you said, if he's not there, then you're just throwing it poop at the wall and hoping that it sticks.

Nick (21:47.446)
But the more and more I...

Nick (21:56.823)
poop at the wall and let me tell you they ain't very good at throwing poop at the wall especially in your eyes dude and I just got I just got your text this alt it's the alternate logo it is it is him

Neil (21:59.564)
It doesn't stick a lot. ain't... It ain't sticky. Bangle poop ain't sticky.

Neil (22:09.441)
Yeah, that's the one that's on the black helmet. It looks awful. Yeah.

Nick (22:15.338)
It's 100%.

Neil (22:17.235)
bar from home alone when he gets electrocuted.

Nick (22:20.351)
It's 100 % Marf.

Neil (22:24.373)
It's the logo that's on the stupid black on black helmets where you can't even actually see the logo. Like, the Ravens are stupid. It's an absolute stupid franchise with stupid logos and dumb colors. Idiots.

Nick (22:35.222)
Well, and they also back out of trades when they realize they can get at somebody else without having to give up compensation.

Neil (22:40.279)
Yeah, they cheat. Bunch of bums. Bums.

Nick (22:43.676)
I can't wait for that game at Pecora.

Neil (22:50.999)
kick their ass.

Nick (22:52.246)
I'm

I guess we can talk a little about the RBC heritage. Over the weekend, Matt Fitzpatrick led pretty much the whole way on Friday on the par three hit a tree on the left side of banks always to the right side almost goes in the water. He gets relief because it's next to a sprinkler head drops it on the putting surface and gets birdie.

Neil (22:59.383)
Yeah, I was tuned into that one.

Neil (23:20.003)
Imagine that.

Nick (23:21.098)
The same day, Ricky Fowler, hole in one, right at the hole, perfect speed, banks off the pin. he gets, him and Fitz, he gets the same score, so you know how that week's gonna go.

Neil (23:30.861)
That's good.

Yeah, you poor guy Rick.

Nick (23:36.257)
But he still finished eighth, tied for eighth, so got him some FedEx points. But Fitzy looked like he might be choking a little bit on Saturday afternoon and then really recovered and went and, well, no, I'm about Saturday. He was plus two early Saturday, but then he recovered and was up pretty much the whole way on Sunday. And then Scottie finally got a couple birdies late and he didn't have a bogey at all on Sunday.

Neil (23:38.039)
Yeah, but that's not bad. There you go.

Neil (23:48.196)
He wasn't like choking he was just Sorry, sorry. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah

Neil (24:05.219)
No. Yeah, no, was like what first bogey and 20, I think was 23 holes or something like that for Fitz, maybe more, but it 20 something holes. like, he was just steady on Sunday. It wasn't great, it wasn't terrible. Just got his pars, got his pars, got his pars and.

Nick (24:05.556)
Until the last.

Nick (24:21.356)
Well, when you got a lead like that, you can do that.

Neil (24:22.915)
Yeah, and then decides to just flub his chip there on 18 and didn't roll out. thought once Scotty was coming, he was birdieing. I thought once it went to that extra hole, I thought it was lights out. I thought Scotty was definitely going to win it. And then Fitzie just absolutely, that second shot, I think it was a four iron maybe, that stuck it to a 12 feet was absolutely beautiful. And Scotty just...

pooped his pants and that was all she wrote.

Nick (24:53.58)
Well, the wind was right in their face on that.

Neil (24:57.069)
The wind, yeah. Yeah. But, but since he played it perfect, he played the wind. He played it perfect. Not the first time, but in the, on the Sun Death Hole.

Nick (25:01.088)
Well, he didn't the first time. Gary Woodland earlier in the day hit like a 211 yard laser that went in the hole, but there were hardly any birdies on 18, especially late in the day because the wind did pick up.

Neil (25:17.411)
Well the pain placement was tough, yeah it was all the way on the left there and... Yeah.

Nick (25:21.6)
But you're right, like going into that playoff, once Scotty catches you, you're thinking, yeah, no, you're not. But on the tee box, on the playoff, he goes up to Scotty and introduces himself, Matt Fitzpatrick. And they played together. What?

Neil (25:28.148)
Usually you ain't coming out with a win. Yeah.

Neil (25:41.933)
They played with each other. They just played, they played all 18 together.

Nick (25:46.176)
They played with each other all day Thursday and Friday!

Neil (25:48.641)
Hahaha!

Nick (25:50.879)
They play Thursday and Friday and then they play all day Sunday and they go to the playoff. You got to feel like you had a four stroke lead, three stroke lead late and you're going to play off against number one in the world and you walk up to him smiling and introduce yourself.

Neil (26:05.155)
Is that a little mind game from Fitzy?

Nick (26:07.828)
I just think it was showing that he was there, like, yes.

Neil (26:10.519)
He's loose. He's loose. Yeah. But it's like Fitz, Fitz learned his lesson from, from the first time they played that hole with the wind and all that. Scotty did the exact same thing on the regulation 18. It was even worse, but he him in the same spots and then he was even worse on it. Yeah, it was even worse, but he didn't learn his lesson. Fitz did. He played the wind. He played the longer club and he drilled it. Hit it perfectly.

Nick (26:21.504)
It was worse. It was worse.

Nick (26:37.258)
Yeah, I think he actually may have pulled it a little more than he wanted to.

But like it came out perfectly, like and it looked perfect. And then he had that 13 footer and like if you don't make it, they're going to another hole because Scottie's chipped like he's going to make that par putt. I would, I would think more like more often than not, he's going to make it. So you feel like you've got to make that and this is your chance. Like you just made the shot to win the tournament. And he sunk that 13 footer to second.

Neil (26:45.377)
Yeah, the wind pushed it right to the hole.

Neil (26:53.261)
drained it.

Neil (27:01.453)
Yeah, yeah, probably, yeah. Yeah, yeah, mate.

Yeah.

Nick (27:12.716)
time he's won at Harbor Town. He also wanted to play off against Jordan Spieth in 2023. dude, the whole crowd is chanting USA.

Neil (27:16.12)
Yep.

Nick (27:25.47)
against him and like he's been at that course since he was six years old. Like his family would go on vacation every year to that course. It's like it's from England. Like he's been at that course more than any other course in the states and he's where he's got the heart. He has the the lighthouse as his driver head cover.

Neil (27:27.203)
Poor guy.

Neil (27:36.675)
Yeah.

Nick (27:50.346)
Like this is his course and he makes the putt and did you see him point to the air a little bit?

Neil (27:51.373)
That's his course. That's his course.

Neil (27:57.326)
I'd not see that, no. That's good. I like it. I like it. Gets to wear the Scotch tape, Scotch guard jacket for his trophy.

Nick (27:58.657)
Point it to the air, then the crowd would silent.

Nick (28:08.972)
Yeah, second time he's won this year, dude was struggling last year. And now what is he? I think he started in FedEx Cup in the top 10 in the world rankings.

Neil (28:12.898)
Yeah.

Nick (28:22.752)
Good on Fitzy. I you win, you go to playoff against number one when he's coming from behind. More likely not, I don't feel like you're gonna win, so.

Neil (28:33.805)
Go for fits.

Nick (28:35.616)
What's your thoughts on Liv?

Neil (28:38.989)
See you later. Don't let the door hit you on the butt on the way out.

Nick (28:40.521)
It's over.

Nick (28:44.428)
Scott O'Neill would disagree with you, their CEO, but I don't know where he's going to find the money.

Neil (28:51.743)
I we all knew the PGA Tour wasn't going anywhere. It was still gonna be the premier tour in the world. tried to bring it down or at least try to become their equal. And it never was that. It never was that. It was hard to find on TV for the longest time. It was on the CW. I think finally they got a Fox contract. But nobody cared. Nobody cared. It was a gimmicky golf. Nobody bought into it. And it didn't work. It didn't work. It's over.

Nick (29:08.524)
I don't think people try that hard though either. Like people don't care.

Neil (29:22.017)
See you later. Now, it's gonna be hard. like guys like Rom and DeChambeau and all the rest of those guys that wanna, where are they gonna play? They're not gonna get the sweetheart deal that Brooks Koepke got. guess they should. Yeah. Yesterday's deal is not on the table. I mean, Patrick Reed's trying to, Patrick Reed at least is trying to fight his way back on his own. So I guess these guys are gonna have to do the same. Yeah.

Nick (29:31.958)
D.P. Tour?

No, that deal is over. deal is over. Bruce Kepa is the smartest guy in golf.

Nick (29:42.998)
Look, they say they're still gonna...

Nick (29:47.917)
They're going to have to the same route. They would have to go the same route. But I just, once you lose that funding, which they had unlimited funding, obviously with the salaries they were paying and.

Once you lose that, I don't know how it's sustainable. Bryson just withdrew from Mexico.

for the second straight year. He claims it was because of his wrist, but he's complained about the course conditions at that place both times. So he's frustrated with Liv.

Neil (30:09.827)
Because of this? Why? Why?

Nick (30:22.664)
You've I mean you lose Bryson that's it's it's I mean it's way over like that's really the only thing you got going for you. They're they're saying some players haven't been paid some vendors haven't been paid. So I don't care what Scott O'Neill says like I don't know how you continue this next year when you had unlimited funds just supporting you but I will say one thing.

I know the PGA guys were a lot, were kind of upset about some of the guys that left, but you look at these winning pools for the PGA tour right now, they're a lot more than what they were before Liv. And Liv is a big reason for that.

Neil (31:08.525)
I would like, I know the PGA feels slotted and stabbed in the back by these guys that left, but having guys like Bryson on tour and John Rahm on tour, it makes the PGA tour better. I want them to realize that, and at least guys that have won previous Masters or previous Majors, let them back in. Let them back in, let them back. Yeah, let them back.

Nick (31:29.644)
They've already tried that. They said no. They already had a chance. They had that chance. That was all given to them. Like exactly what you said was offered. And they all said, nah, we're good.

Neil (31:39.735)
When was that? When was that?

Nick (31:43.638)
Like, whenever Keppka came over!

Neil (31:48.535)
That's to let them back in. But that was before they didn't have anywhere else to go.

Nick (31:52.64)
That's their fault!

Neil (31:54.187)
I know it's their fault.

I would give a select few the Capca deal. I'd give it to them now and I guarantee you they'll all take it. They're all gonna take it now though. They would all take it.

Nick (32:01.504)
They already did that, a select few. They made up specific rules.

Well, they did.

Neil (32:11.415)
The PGA Tour would be better with Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm on tour.

Nick (32:17.504)
which is why the PGA Tour offered them what they offered just under two months ago.

Neil (32:21.347)
But now they don't have anywhere else to go. So they're going to take it. They're gonna take it. You can get these guys now.

Nick (32:27.99)
That offer is off the table. And it should be.

Neil (32:34.103)
I just want Bryson on tour.

Nick (32:36.086)
Well then, I don't know what to tell you. Like he's gonna have to go figure out a way, the same way Patrick Reed's figuring it out. Because that...

Neil (32:43.715)
Everybody hates Patrick Reed,

Nick (32:46.39)
Well, yeah, I agree with that.

Neil (32:47.181)
People don't hate Bryson anymore. People used to hate Bryson, they don't hate him anymore. They actually kinda like him. He's likable. He's likable now. Yeah, I think so.

Nick (32:51.776)
I'm not a pricing guy. Is he?

Nick (32:59.104)
But like you're acting like this wasn't offered. This it was.

Neil (33:02.467)
But no offer it now cuz they they didn't they they would take it now though

Nick (33:07.5)
Well, it's amazing how that works, it?

Neil (33:11.191)
Yeah. I've thrown my life raft only for like two or three guys. The rest of them can go drown.

Nick (33:18.86)
the rest of them. is once again it's already happened. I don't know how many times I gotta say this. John Rahm has been given an option.

Neil (33:25.507)
Now, offer it now, now, now. You're not listening. Offer it to him now, right now.

Nick (33:30.304)
They're not gonna do that! They have the leverage!

They have no leverage. They had leverage before. Now they have no leverage.

Neil (33:35.767)
No, but I think the quicker you get them back on tour, the better. I just think the quicker you get the guys like Bryson and John Rom back on tour, the better.

Nick (33:43.232)
So what's your punishment for them?

Neil (33:49.697)
I don't know, make him play in that stupid, make him play in the TGL every week. Nobody watches anymore.

Nick (33:56.214)
Well, because it's out of season.

Neil (33:58.881)
I know now it's out of season, but...

Nick (33:59.904)
That's your one punishment. You have to play it in the TGL.

Neil (34:03.753)
How many TGO matches did you watch this year? Some. A lot less than last year? Yes.

Nick (34:06.486)
some. Yeah. No, the same. Probably the same.

Neil (34:13.251)
I think it's its luster.

Nick (34:16.064)
When it's up against college hoops, no. But when it's standalone and no college hoops, yes. That's basically the way it works.

Neil (34:24.981)
Alright, so what should their punishment be?

Nick (34:28.544)
They've already had an option. Figure out a way to qualify.

Neil (34:30.307)
Nicholas Evans, Commissioner of the PGA, offer John Rahm and Bryson Deschambault a deal. What would you offer it?

Nick (34:39.382)
Do you care about it? KM Smith is.

Neil (34:42.467)
Sure, a cam can come too.

Nick (34:45.324)
because he's another major winner. He had the option. No, make him go play the DP World Tour for at least a year.

Neil (34:46.669)
Fine, camp can come too.

Neil (34:53.825)
No! That's dumb! That's dumb. There's superstars! Get them back on tour! Get your superstars back on tour! Quickly!

Nick (34:56.96)
They've had their chance.

Nick (35:02.924)
So you think the PGA Tour is really suffering that much without them on there? they not being successful because they're not there? Exactly. So then punish them and make them go play overseas for a year. And that's your path. And if you finish so high in the DP World Tour rankings, then we'll talk about.

Neil (35:07.233)
No, they're doing just fine. No, they're doing just fine. They're doing just fine.

Neil (35:18.689)
Nah, I'd put it

Neil (35:22.977)
The PGA Tour is fine without them, but it's even better with them on there. Get the best players in the world on your tour. That should be the goal. And these guys are, these three are the best in the world.

Nick (35:30.4)
that's-

You also see them play in majors. When was the last time John Robbins been competitive in a major?

Man, cause it's been a little bit.

Neil (35:42.979)
Well, because he's playing 54 holes a week. He's not even used to playing 72. Okay, so get him back on tour, let him play some real golf, let him get back up to speed and on some D &B competitive.

Nick (35:46.122)
That's his fault, once again, his fault!

Nick (35:51.508)
Let them just let them do whatever they want. Let them just allow them Come on guys come back They had a chance they had a chance

Neil (35:55.288)
There's three of them, I would've three of them! No, three of them! Three of them! Three of them! Three! One, two, three! We name the three of them, they're three of the best in the world, get them back on tour,

Nick (36:06.293)
Ken Smith hasn't done a thing since he went to live. Not a thing. Ken Smith has not done a thing since he went to live. No, but I'm saying that he hasn't competed in the majors either.

Neil (36:09.431)
Who? Who? I couldn't even tell you, because I don't watch Liv. It's stupid.

Because he's not used to playing real golf! He's playing putt-putt! He's not there playing putt-putt out there! Not real golf!

Nick (36:21.419)
That's his fault. Well, there's 72 holes now, so live don't even make sense. And Bryson withdrew. Here's the funny thing, Bryson withdrew after 54. So I'm not playing that extra 18.

Neil (36:27.105)
Now they're- still- it's still gimmicky golf.

Neil (36:36.055)
get them back on a real tour with real competition. They'll get back up to speed.

Nick (36:40.555)
So what is it? You're just going to allow them back with no repercussions. Like even.

Neil (36:43.531)
Now there should be repercussions but whatever it is, it needs to at least consist of them being on tour almost immediately.

Nick (36:46.485)
Like there's

Nick (36:52.243)
Is multi-million dollar fine to a charity of the PGA or their choice or the PGA's choice?

Neil (36:54.883)
Sure. Yeah.

Nick (36:59.569)
That's good start. But I'm still, making them play here at DP.

Neil (37:00.931)
Okay, let's do that.

Neil (37:06.679)
Like build some golf courses in for some like underprivileged kids or something. That's fine.

Neil (37:14.733)
but get back on tour. The tour's better with them on it. Even though the tour's fine, the tour's fine as it is, but it's better with them on it.

Nick (37:18.997)
But it's not. Yep. Yep. They also had a chance with Brooks did it.

Neil (37:28.887)
But now they don't have a home. They're homeless.

Nick (37:32.181)
Maybe they should have seen the writing on the wall.

mean, there was one guy that made the decision.

Neil (37:38.605)
People make mistakes, Nicholas. People make mistakes.

Nick (37:41.385)
And Brooks was sitting there at Harbor Town on Thursday waiting for somebody to drop out because he was the first alternate to get in the field and he did not get in. And you know the PGA guys were just sitting there just pointing and laughing.

Neil (37:58.882)
Ow, it's not funny. Brooke should be playing. Brooke should be playing every week. Every week.

Nick (38:03.083)
But didn't qualify. He almost got in not because he has played well enough to almost qualify. That's why he was the first alternate.

Neil (38:11.895)
He needs to be playing every week. The tour is better.

Nick (38:13.759)
Well, he's not in the signature events. And I think that's, there should be punishment.

Neil (38:19.489)
No, put your signature players in your signature events! Makes sense, put them in!

Nick (38:24.245)
Do you know how you get into signature event? You qualify via FedEx points. What was his FedEx points last year?

Neil (38:26.797)
qualify.

Neil (38:31.479)
Zero.

Nick (38:34.219)
There you go.

Neil (38:37.997)
People make mistakes, Nick.

Nick (38:39.849)
They also made, it's not like they didn't make millions and millions of dollars.

Neil (38:45.163)
Okay, as we just said, cut into those millions, donate to some charities, build some youth golf courses around the country, and let them play.

Nick (38:57.557)
We'll live flight next year.

I-I-I-I-I agree. I don't know.

Neil (39:03.233)
I got a punishment they can do. Make those three guys play 72 holes with Joe Ziegler.

Nick (39:10.859)
You

Neil (39:12.547)
when Joe's on the sauce. With Joe, a drinkin' bourbon, 74 straight rounds of golf with Joe Ziegler while he's on bourbon should be the punishment. And then.

Nick (39:21.929)
It should not be, and it should not be great weather.

Neil (39:24.991)
It's cold, cold and damp, cold and damp. Four rounds of golf with Joe while Joe's on the sauce.

Nick (39:26.441)
It should be cold weather. It should be cold weather.

Nick (39:33.309)
And still a million dollars to a charity of your choice. Okay, we're getting we're getting closer.

Neil (39:36.449)
Yeah, and the money to the chair. Yeah, can't forget about the kids. Yeah.

Nick (39:42.987)
Dean Blandino is getting closer.

Neil (39:49.249)
Stupid demon. He listened to the pot. I think he listened to the pot. I called him out for being a dumbass.

Nick (39:49.567)
They changed the rule! You think Dean listened to the pod?

Nick (39:57.44)
Well, it was a stupid rule. a after the Louisville Kings lose on a penalty.

Neil (39:59.588)
It was a stupid, he's stupid. It's a stupid rule that he created.

Neil (40:06.699)
On a penalty. Yeah.

Nick (40:08.021)
Like what was it like four or five days later, two, three, three days after our pod, they come out and say that they say a game cannot end on a penalty. What a, what a novel concept. And then what do you know? What are the Louisville Kings doing their next game?

Neil (40:12.979)
Was that game on a Saturday? yeah, after the party. Yeah.

What a concept. What a concept.

Neil (40:24.439)
Kings go to overtime.

Let's go back to overtime.

Nick (40:28.767)
go back to OT and they win as they convert two out of three or one out of three. We've seen the Kings play two playoff overtime games in a row. Was there five possessions when they lost some ability on each side? So four possessions on each side. And then last on the last game we saw three possessions on each side. that's 14.

Neil (40:34.242)
It wasn't.

Neil (40:44.319)
Eight. It was one extra. It was one extra. Eight total.

Neil (40:53.779)
So we're looking at 14 possessions.

Nick (40:58.859)
14 plays and we've seen from the five and we've seen one, one touchdown.

Neil (40:59.331)
I'm your man, from the five.

Nick (41:08.819)
It speaks to the level of play maybe a little bit.

Neil (41:12.279)
Yeah, game on Thursday was a little less clean than it was last week. It was kinda ugly.

Nick (41:22.717)
It was ugly, but you gotta give credit to the Kickers,

Neil (41:30.807)
Gakers are balling out in this league, Absolute.

Nick (41:33.396)
Tanner Brown, dude's just banging 50 yarders like it's nothing. Had five kicks on, what was it? That was Thursday night?

Neil (41:37.037)
Yeah.

Neil (41:42.103)
Yeah, also in that game, I don't know who the Stallions kicker is, but apparently he's a beast too. Did you not think the game winner was good?

Nick (41:47.467)
Yeah, they both were great.

I did, 100%.

Neil (41:51.967)
Even on replay, was inside the upright, was it not?

Nick (41:54.943)
Remember, I thought it was good.

Neil (41:56.641)
I mean, Kevin Sullivan wanted to kill somebody.

Nick (42:00.086)
Well, he didn't get any calls the whole night.

Neil (42:01.953)
No, they got screwed. They absolutely got screwed.

Nick (42:03.979)
They had a pick where they brought it back to the 30 where they got called for passing their fence Which the ball was so overthrown late

Neil (42:12.323)
Wait, who do we play? Houston? Houston, The gamblers. Dallas? Is that Houston? Houston. Yeah.

Nick (42:14.493)
the gamblers.

Yeah, Houston. But no doubt that kick, like it was above the upright and inside it.

Neil (42:25.737)
the inside. Yeah. There's replay that shows it. I'm glad Dean was asleep during that one. And then the touchdown, the touchdown for the Kings that might not have been a touchdown.

Nick (42:29.269)
Wait, yes!

Yes!

Nick (42:40.631)
Were they were first to go from the one and they barely got in? don't think, yeah, I don't think he got in. I don't know. It's I mean, I've watched because I've worked the games. It's kind of got me into it a little bit. The football is not the prettiest. I thought it got better the week before when they lost in overtime. They actually moved the ball a little bit. It kind of went backwards. Yeah. But

Neil (42:42.551)
Yeah. And I don't think he got any fumbles. He ended up fumbling.

Neil (43:02.243)
That was actually a game. That was a good game. Both sides. The storm and the...

Nick (43:06.741)
But then you're there what four games into the season, they're one and three. And they release bitty snail. And then they trade being to the to DC.

Neil (43:14.659)
starting right now.

Neil (43:20.311)
Jason Bean is gone. Gone.

Nick (43:22.399)
Like to me, I don't understand it because don't you want to build consistency with your fan base and the fact that a lot of Kings fans were going to games, I think, because Benny Snow was on the team being a Kentucky player. And I know his numbers haven't been great, you're just going to adios to dude after four games when he's one of your biggest draws.

Neil (43:39.427)
His offensive line hadn't been good either.

Neil (43:46.019)
Yeah, mean we're not the only ones. Birmingham Stallions, I think was yesterday, traded their starting quarterback Matt Corral.

Nick (43:55.177)
never thought we would get this deep into the UFL.

Neil (43:57.76)
They traded their starting quarterback, former Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral, forgot what team they traded him to, but they got Dorian Thompson Robinson or whatever, the third, the guy that played for the Browns. No, the dude that played for the Browns.

Nick (44:06.666)
Nice again, guys!

Nick (44:10.948)
yeah, yeah, yeah.

Neil (44:12.809)
It's something Thompson Robinson or whatever his name is. So they flip flopped quarterbacks, the Stallions and whoever they traded Corral to. So a lot of trades going on. Starting quarterbacks being tossed around like they're nothing.

Nick (44:21.556)
And again

Nick (44:26.443)
Like in Bean's quarter, like his completion percentage was under 50%, but like he's played almost every snap. And then all of sudden you're just like, all right, we're shipping you out.

We're four games into a 10 game season. We're trading our quarterback.

Neil (44:44.579)
He played well last week and fucked on Thursday, but...

Nick (44:44.927)
I don't know, mate.

Neil (44:51.342)
well. King's got their first win in franchise history. Good for Chris Redmond.

Nick (44:57.525)
How much of the NBA playoffs have you been watching?

Neil (45:00.745)
I've got it on right now but this is the first of it. I'm just not interested in it this year. Yeah, it'll come. I'm sure it'll come. But I got the Knicks and Hawks on right now.

Nick (45:06.569)
At all, still.

Nick (45:13.183)
Me Wimby in his playoff debut? Dude had 21 points at half?

Neil (45:15.459)
Oh, did watch a little bit of that, yeah.

Nick (45:21.099)
finished with what 35, 35 had five threes. I will say this, that arena, the way they did their color out in those old school uniforms was pretty cool.

Neil (45:32.887)
Fiesta colors. Yeah, the throwbacks. Love those. Love those.

Nick (45:38.747)
And you know when teams have good marketing departments.

You can tell. And this was a well executed marketing plan. Before the game, mean, obviously they had shirts on every check in the lower bowl, maybe the whole arena, I don't know.

Neil (45:49.505)
Yeah, it sure was.

Neil (45:58.36)
Did see them calling out the fans that didn't have them on? yeah, sorry.

Nick (46:00.362)
That's what I'm talking about. So they're going, they go section by section and they have a graphic that says like put on your shirt. And then they have a graphic that says thank you for putting on your shirt. And for the people that didn't have their shirt on, they'd point it on until they put it on and then they changed the graphic. Like that's good marketing.

Neil (46:18.052)
Yeah, it's genius. So good. So good. Yeah.

Nick (46:22.653)
It's good marketing. But no, that looked awesome. Tim, Tim Duncan and David Robinson were both in the crowd, which was cool. He's been looking like that for the last couple of years.

Neil (46:30.743)
Tim Duncan looked like an old Rastafarian. Yeah, I know he does. He just looked like an old Rastafarian. Man just rolled off the beach in Jamaica.

Nick (46:41.343)
Yeah. Well, he is from the Virgin Islands.

Neil (46:45.048)
Yes.

Nick (46:49.602)
But yeah, I watched the Warriors just because I want to watch Steph and they had a chance to get, I mean, they were eight games under 500 and had a chance to get in the playoffs through the playing games. They ended up getting killed by the Suns in the second game. But is that going to be the last we see of Steve Kerr, Draymond and Steph? It sure looked like it in that post game.

Neil (47:02.275)
for us.

Neil (47:12.227)
potentially. I mean I heard the rumblings of maybe Steve Kerr retiring but Dre Mon is just a clown man. I hate watching Dre Mon. Love Steph. Like Steve Kerr. Can't stay in Dre Mon.

Nick (47:29.181)
He does what they need him to do. He's always done what they need him to do.

Neil (47:31.789)
He's like the modern-age Dennis Rodman.

Nick (47:35.615)
which he was pretty successful. Both of those guys have been pretty successful. If they're on your team, you love them. If they're not on your team, you hate them.

Neil (47:38.103)
He was. He was annoying.

Neil (47:44.195)
That's true.

Nick (47:47.19)
But it'll be interesting to see, mean, talk, mean, what a good spot to find yourself in, become the head coach after Mark Jackson gets fired and you get to be the head coach of Steph Curry over the next, what, 12, 12, 12 years? Won four, won four Natties or four titles and.

Neil (48:00.728)
With Clayton. With Clayton. Yeah.

Neil (48:06.819)
got Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Andre Mon, Wis Duff. Yeah, it's a dream team.

Nick (48:12.355)
So I don't know, could be an end of error. It kind of looked like it as they were getting together post game. I he said he's not gonna walk away from Steph, but Draymond didn't know if he's gonna be back there either, so.

we'd Raleigh, Raleigh Leonard of the Colts was talking about what he's on like a four year, $4 million deal. And he's like, yeah, I was waking, making way more money in college.

Neil (48:38.359)
So what's this deal? Four year, four mil? A year? Four mil a year?

Nick (48:40.523)
Yeah, no, four year, four million. He's 1.1. So 4.4.

Neil (48:45.353)
Yeah, he was making more college.

Nick (48:47.933)
And I know, it's not even close, is it?

Neil (48:52.813)
You're also the third string on the colts.

Nick (48:54.731)
But let's just, but just think about that. Like how wild that, we all know it. Like, players are getting upwards to what, four or $5 million? Maybe some even more than that. You all right over there? You need to go sleep? That was a big, big old yawn.

Neil (48:58.029)
That is.

Neil (49:05.313)
Yeah. I might.

Been up since 5.30.

Nick (49:12.171)
Tell me about this Tinder dude in a little standoff.

Neil (49:21.027)
Yeah, I found it. Let's what city. Do you remember what city that was in that I sent you?

Nick (49:25.172)
I don't.

Neil (49:33.889)
Riverside. guessing it's Riverside, California.

Neil (49:43.074)
Yeah, so Riverside, California. The incident happened, it looked like there was a stolen car or something that the cops finally caught up to after a high speed chase that then turned into an armed standoff. So armed standoff, hours long armed standoff. Basically suspect barricades himself inside his vehicle which was surrounded by multiple patrol vehicles and two SWAT team bearcats.

CBS affiliate was flying their helicopter overhead zoomed in on the standoff and one of the cops behind his Vehicle who was involved in the standoff got a little bored after a couple hours and decided to get his cell phone out It was scrolling some tinder Scrolling some tinder during the arm situation

Nick (50:34.133)
So he's actually like taking cover.

Neil (50:36.727)
Yeah, there's a picture of him taking cover behind his vehicle with his phone out, yes. Uh-huh, he's in full gear, got the helmet on, got the vest on. He's the phone out.

Nick (50:41.611)
So two things.

Nick (50:48.661)
First off, like I know that it's a TV news station, so they've got pretty good cameras, right? But they can tell what you're looking at on your phone?

Neil (50:55.459)
That's a good idea. The overhead shot, yeah.

It was that good, yeah. They were soon 10.9 far. Yeah. Kinda. Kinda.

Nick (51:02.187)
From that high? Is that kind of scary a little bit?

Like, you're going to be putting your phone down whenever you see a helicopter above you?

Neil (51:11.811)
Might have to.

Nick (51:15.147)
Also, I hope dude gets a date.

Neil (51:19.415)
That's what I'm saying. I mean, you've been there for hours, you're like, alright, this is dumb, like, I'm bored, this dude ain't getting out of his car. Let's see if I can get into some stuff, let's see if there's any, girls that wanna go out tonight for dinner. You just start swiping left and right. I hope you man.

Nick (51:35.455)
And I will say, like, we all scroll all the different, you scroll the videos on Instagram, on TikTok, all that. I it's the same damn monotonous thing. Like, you're just seeing what chicks are on Tinder. Like, I do it. I'm not even, like, just seeing who's on there. Now, I...

Neil (51:42.145)
Yeah, yeah.

Neil (51:52.291)
You're casting the wide net. You're throwing the fishing pole out there and just see if you can hook something.

Nick (51:58.39)
So I just, I'm more, I got.

Neil (52:01.771)
I hope it works out for the guy like this thing about this think about like the same Yeah, he's in trouble his boss came in they had a press conference about it, and he was yeah He's in trouble because he's on the job and it's a stay like it's an arm standoff And you know you might should be probably paying attention, but you know after a couple hours. She's like you know

Nick (52:04.671)
Like, is he in trouble for this? He's not in trouble for it. Why?

Nick (52:22.475)
And also it's taking a TV camera from a million feet in the air and looking straight down like

Neil (52:26.391)
You got caught. You got caught. Here's really what I hope happens though. Is, dude, whoever he was scrolling on matches with the chick. They go on a date, they hit it off. They end up, you know, getting married and maybe having some kids. Cause you imagine, you saw the show How I Met Your Mother. This will be a hell of a How I Met Your Mother story.

Nick (52:49.643)
I'm not gonna watch 10 seasons to figure out how that happened. It was a great show, but it annoyed the hell out of you the way it kept changing what was going on there at the end.

Neil (52:53.475)
That's a great show by the way.

Neil (53:01.687)
Yeah, but what a story of how I met your mother in an arm standoff while I was involved in it just swiping on Tinder.

Nick (53:11.175)
It should help him get dates too. Because it brings some publicity to you. you're the guy. You're the guy.

Neil (53:13.639)
yeah. yeah. yeah. I'll be one married.

Nick (53:22.089)
I think we would have known that by now, but I don't know for sure. I feel like that would have been out there.

Neil (53:23.669)
I think you're right. Yeah, that was that was not part of the story, so I think we're in the clear there.

Nick (53:29.609)
mean, maybe that's what I need to do. Somebody be in some kind of issue and be on Tinder and get caught and then maybe it'll help me get more play.

Neil (53:37.603)
There you go, go hijack a car out there in the South End and start driving around like a maniac. Let the cops chase you for a while and as they're arresting you just have your phone on tending.

Nick (53:39.858)
you

Nick (53:45.099)
Okay. Okay.

Okay, maybe we'll try it. Maybe we'll try it.

Neil (53:51.671)
Dude, you would look like a badass. think chicks would dig that. That might help. That would help you.

Nick (53:55.116)
It looked like something. It like something with my hands behind my back getting in a patrol car.

Neil (54:01.559)
Like you would make national news. Girls would dig it.

Nick (54:03.743)
Yep. As you should for being an absolute moron.

Neil (54:07.361)
Yeah, but I think chicks would dig that. You'd at least find some. They might be crazy, but you'd at least find some.

Nick (54:14.379)
And now I'm a fake badass who's not really a badass. I'm just doing this to gain attention. I'm like the George Costanza in the one episode where the chick thinks he's a bad guy and he's wearing his high school sport, like his high school jacket, varsity jacket. Yeah. I know that's, will, I don't, it might be better in my other place. We'll see.

Neil (54:36.739)
I mean your plays ain't working right now, so we might need to throw an album

Nick (54:37.451)
If you hear squeaking tires around campus tomorrow, I think that's what's going on. Parachuter? Dude, the guy, is he okay? The Virginia Tech Parachuter?

Neil (54:54.859)
Yeah, they checked him out at the scene. He was the least.

Nick (54:57.503)
How do they get him down? Every video I watch stops when he's just hanging there. I've seen like four or five videos on my feed and I'm like, all right, this one will show how he gets down. Nope, just crashes into the sea and then hangs there. How do they get down?

Neil (55:07.511)
I believe

Neil (55:11.843)
I believe I yeah, fire department brought in the ladder, ladder truck or ladder something to get them down. It a fire department rescue situation.

Nick (55:18.965)
Because it looked like it was about to come loose. And then you're like, how fast is he going to fall?

Neil (55:24.291)
It him about 20 minutes to get him down from there, but he was rescued safely. The game was delayed for over an hour, I believe. But Nick, this is the second incident in the last year of parachuters at football games. Do we need to stop? That's what saying. we need like... The first one was the dude that got caught in the field goal net, which we blame the field goal net people for having the net up in the first place. It's true.

Nick (55:40.907)
Do we need to stop it?

Nick (55:51.455)
Which, that's true.

Neil (55:53.89)
This one, this guy was one of three parachutists, whatever you want to call them, to fly into the stadium here at Virginia Tech on some parachutists. Parachutists, So he was one of three. The other two landed perfectly fine in the middle of the field like they were supposed to. And this guy just went wham!

Nick (56:01.194)
I don't. Parachuters. Parachuters. Shooters, I think.

Nick (56:14.367)
Well, I mean, dude, the first guy came in hot, though. Like, he's basically running full sprint when he lands, and I'm like, damn. And then you see, dude just rolls into the scoreboard.

Neil (56:19.81)
Yeah.

Neil (56:30.371)
I mean that was a he broke two letters off the Virginia Tech name on the board It

Nick (56:36.299)
Like the plastic or whatever it is, it just falls on top of people.

Neil (56:40.419)
Now that we know the dudes all right like but buddy like what are we doing? Like if it's that windy if it's that windy why are we jumping?

Nick (56:45.565)
No. Is that the end of this?

Nick (56:52.075)
Is that the end of it? Or do you only have to go, or can you only go on absolute calm days?

Neil (56:54.817)
I think you're gonna see a lot less. It's gonna be fewer and fewer. But the fact that he was okay, I mean if he had like gotten seriously hurt then yeah that's for sure gonna be probably the end.

Nick (57:03.32)
Luckily

Nick (57:07.403)
Well, and the first guy didn't get hurt either, right? Yeah. So we're fine. Just, we're fine. Just keep doing it.

Neil (57:10.209)
No. He was just in the field all night.

Neil (57:16.439)
What's next? I gonna run into the light pole? Get caught hanging upside down from the light pole?

Nick (57:20.683)
I don't know. you're not gonna catch me doing that,

Neil (57:24.983)
Like, come on, come on, parachuter guys, we gotta be better here. We gotta be better. If it's too windy, then we can't do it. But we can't

Nick (57:30.987)
Is it a bad omen for the beginning of the James Franklin era in Blacksburg?

Neil (57:36.001)
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes it is. Yes. You can't be having parachutists slamming face first into your scoreboard on your first spring game before you even snap the football. Can't be having it.

Nick (57:40.043)
Do you really believe that?

Nick (57:55.051)
I guess we'll close with the what would Joe do?

Neil (58:01.188)
But they weren't great.

Nick (58:01.546)
And this might be more for you because...

Neil (58:04.951)
These weren't great ones.

Nick (58:07.167)
But how many 10 year olds could you beat up at one time?

Neil (58:12.003)
I mean, some of these 10 year olds these days, they're some big old boys. You know, like... Uhhh...

Nick (58:15.989)
Yeah.

Neil (58:20.917)
At one time, I'll get you to take at least five.

Nick (58:24.189)
Even if they're the big old boys?

Neil (58:27.971)
Yeah, I'd probably do more than five actually. 10 year olds are, they're fourth graders. It's a fourth grader. Give me 10, give me 10 fourth graders. At least. First of all, these kids ain't gonna be tall enough to reach my face to even like get a punch in. You, you're in trouble. You are in trouble.

Nick (58:31.093)
Thank you guys.

Nick (58:46.699)
If I get one of the big old boys, I'm done. Like one. One can take me.

Neil (58:50.051)
Yeah, yeah. I think I could do it. They take on at least 10 at a time because these dudes aren't going be able to reach my face with any punches. They're little snot gobblers. They're little short little things.

Nick (59:00.479)
Like, yeah, I think you could take 10, but if you get like one kid, like the big kid from Bad Santa.

Neil (59:09.475)
Well, problem is if I get hit in the nuts. If somebody hits me in the nuts and then bends me, then I keel over, then the advantage goes to them, because then they can start kicking and punching me in the face. They gotta get me down to their level.

Nick (59:10.431)
That's actually aggressive. Huh?

Nick (59:24.713)
Yeah, and I'm already there. So I think mine's gonna be one-on-one to see if I can beat up a 10-year-old. And I I'm gonna be a lot stronger than the 10-year-old, but they're gonna move a lot better than I do. So which one outweighs the other?

Neil (59:27.105)
Yeah, that's problem for you.

Neil (59:32.483)
We'll get this on the next Rough and Rowdy.

Neil (59:45.763)
Boy.

Nick (59:47.571)
I don't... I'm not... a fighter.

So I don't even want to fight a 10 year old. And probably he's not a great look either. There's no way I could win that situation. Either I beat up a 10 year old or I get beat up by a 10 year old. Both of those are awful. Lose, lose.

Neil (01:00:01.676)
Nope, zero.

Neil (01:00:05.473)
Zero chance. Zero chance that it's a good thing. It is lose-lose.

Nick (01:00:12.511)
But in this scenario, legit, think you could, 10 might be a lot.

Nick (01:00:26.187)
They're coming from all directions.

Neil (01:00:27.683)
problem is, like, one punch from me to a 10 year old and he's out. Like, it ain't gonna take, like, it doesn't take me. These 10 year olds don't wanna be.

Nick (01:00:32.843)
You gotta land it. You gotta land it. When was the last time you effectively landed a punch?

Neil (01:00:39.107)
I don't think ever.

Nick (01:00:40.619)
You

Neil (01:00:42.135)
But also, but also, these senior roles don't know how to protect themselves. They're just coming full speed. One little elbow, elbow here, a kick here. It won't take much.

Nick (01:00:58.869)
So 10, no doubt. What if it went up to 15?

Neil (01:01:01.708)
I guess we'll do it.

Nick (01:01:04.555)
you you still could do it?

Neil (01:01:05.571)
Yeah. Give me a whole fourth grade class.

Nick (01:01:10.667)
Alright before, one more thing because we posted about the Masters saying if you were up by six going to the last could you win? And we posted the short and we both said yeah we could do it. So we had a comment from the user Beeb. He says could you win the Masters if you started every hole, all 72 holes from the farthest part of the green.

Neil (01:01:19.329)
Yeah.

Neil (01:01:23.916)
Yeah.

Neil (01:01:39.746)
Yes.

Nick (01:01:41.163)
Do you think you could do it?

Neil (01:01:42.243)
Yes, because a four putt on 80 % of the holes, a four putt is going to get you a par or a birdie every time.

Nick (01:01:52.747)
So you've got four par threes, four par fives, and then 10 par fours.

So you gotta take advantage of those par fives. I mean, you could get Eagles on multiple if you just three putt. So that sets you up.

Neil (01:02:11.267)
Yeah. So like I said, if you four-putt 80 % of the holes, you're going to get birdies or parsed every time. And that's if you four-putt. You're probably going to end up three-putting a few, and that's a birdie. That's a guaranteed birdie or an eagle.

Nick (01:02:24.703)
Yeah. Now look, you're gonna bogey some par threes.

Neil (01:02:28.865)
Yeah. But you won't be the only one that does that.

Nick (01:02:31.531)
So on average, you got to get somewhere between probably $1,200 and $1,600 to win for the tournament.

Neil (01:02:41.539)
Yeah, 16 birdies over 72 holes, 16 birdies over 72 holes starting on the green. You can do that.

Nick (01:02:42.133)
I mean, I... Huh?

Nick (01:02:49.397)
Well, and you're gonna get some bogeys. You're gonna bogey some par threes. So it's more than 16 birdies, but I, and I, we obviously have never putted on master's greens, but I would like to think that I can figure out, beat enough.

Neil (01:02:55.149)
Alright, sure.

Neil (01:03:01.773)
Correct.

Do I get a practice round?

Nick (01:03:09.459)
I would like to think so. If I, if I get a practice round, I think it's a no brainer.

Neil (01:03:10.871)
Like the other guys get? Alright.

Yeah. But you're also gonna figure the speed of the greens out relatively quick.

Nick (01:03:17.013)
Like even if you...

I agree with that. 1000%. And these are faster greens than I've ever played. But in our scope, like I've put better on faster greens than I do slower greens. Now I've never put it on master's speed. But in general, I put better when the greens are a little faster.

Neil (01:03:32.311)
You do putt

Neil (01:03:41.005)
So you get ULGC, they got some fast grains, usually putt pretty well.

Nick (01:03:45.653)
So yeah, I think I would do it. I think this scenario is easier than the other scenario.

Neil (01:03:56.483)
I would agree, yes.

Nick (01:04:00.127)
Because if you spray your drive...

and you go OB or something like that, you're in trouble.

This is in this scenario, if I screw up a hole, I've got a lot of holes to make up for it. And all I got to do is like you said, four putt, the par fives and three putt the par fours to get a stroke back.

So I feel pretty good about it.

Nick (01:04:31.627)
So the track event tonight didn't last too long at Central High School?

Neil (01:04:36.931)
no was a smaller meat i think it was about six sixteens maybe in this one Tully came in second came in second Tully our school came in

Nick (01:04:42.985)
What, who did, okay. What events are Harper and Bennett running in?

Neil (01:04:51.395)
Let's see, today Harper was, she did a long jump again for the second meet in a row. So long jump, the 100, the 200, and the 400. Bennett today did the 100, the 200, the 400, and she wanted to try, for some reason, she didn't want to do the 800 because she thought it was too long, but then she changed her mind and was like, I want to do the 1600.

Nick (01:05:18.731)
So 1800 is too long, but 1600 is perfect.

Neil (01:05:20.867)
Yeah, did, cause yeah, you basically got to pick what you wanted to do today. And she didn't want to do the 800 cause she didn't want, it was too long. She's done the 800 before with no problem, but she didn't really enjoy it. She did? I was like, you know that's four times on the track. She's like, yeah, she changed her mind. She wanted to do it. So she did great. She finished first in her age group. She ran a mile in seven minutes and like 40 seconds. I was like, Christ.

Nick (01:05:31.083)
Well, did she do the 16?

Nick (01:05:37.579)
How'd she do?

Nick (01:05:44.17)
What?

And this is after other stuff.

Neil (01:05:48.865)
Yeah, this was the last, this was her last race of the day. So after she'd already been on the road.

Nick (01:05:52.971)
So you've ran a 100, a 200, a 400 and done a long jump.

Neil (01:05:56.673)
No, then a 1600.

Nick (01:05:58.441)
And no, and then you did a 1600 after all that. Okay.

Neil (01:06:00.516)
Well, didn't, did not do the long jump, Harper did the long jump. But yes, she did a 100, a 400, a 200, and then the 1600. Four laps around, basically it's a mile. And yeah, she ran it in seven minutes and like 40 seconds. Got first in her injury. Never stopped, didn't stop. It was awesome. Yeah, very proud of her. Got first.

Nick (01:06:14.356)
to like.

Good for her. Let's go. You should be. That's awesome. Like, just don't understand. Like, lot of my nieces and nephews are doing the cross-country. The last thing I wanted to do is an eight to what, 12-year-old? Like, they're all spread out in ages. Like, the last thing I wanted to do was cross-country. Like, why? But they all do this track stuff, too. And like, as a parent, I feel like you have to be there.

Neil (01:06:48.099)
I don't have to pay $10 to go watch my own kids run.

Nick (01:06:48.106)
As an uncle, as an uncle, you don't, okay. Like I've been to a few, they're brutal, long.

Neil (01:06:56.963)
Well like it's... Today's wasn't bad because like I said there's only six teams but yeah usually when you get like 14 teams in there 14 schools

Nick (01:07:06.248)
And you're sitting there watching nothing for the most part.

Neil (01:07:09.443)
Unless, yeah, yeah.

Nick (01:07:12.84)
I stick to going to their baseball and basketball games. Way better, way better. And luckily none of them are dancing because growing up, both of my sisters, their dance recitals, it's like the worst day of the year. And I would hear the same thing every time from my mother. Nicholas, they go to your baseball games twice a week. I think you can go to their dance recital that lasts five hours once a year.

Neil (01:07:25.921)
Ugh. Ugh.

Neil (01:07:41.955)
Tell your mom to stop making sense. It's too logical. Shirley's being too logical.

Nick (01:07:45.035)
And we didn't have cell phones back then. Like this is before. It was brutal. I think I've read the program and it was awful. It was awful. So just be glad they're not dancing.

Neil (01:07:50.173)
you actually had to pay attention to him.

Neil (01:07:58.948)
It's like a nap.

Nick (01:08:06.75)
You getting a sexy daxy jersey?

Neil (01:08:09.316)
Think about we need to. Is he gonna be 97? Did he pay Shemar his money?

Nick (01:08:13.94)
we didn't talk about that. Yeah, he wants 97. So I think there's a big chunk of change coming to Shamar. Now, Shamar wore four in college at Texas. It's Sean Clifford. It's like the practice string quarterback. No, the Bengals would not allow him to wear four because they haven't had a single digit defensive player. It is an eligible number in the NFL. So.

Neil (01:08:26.18)
I don't think we have before, we?

Nick (01:08:42.312)
Here's what I say to the Bingles, keep doing things that you haven't done in the past, let Shemar have four.

Let Dexie have 97 and let's go.

Neil (01:08:53.892)
Let's go.

Nick (01:08:55.539)
And then he doesn't even have to pay.

Neil (01:08:57.218)
Right. Although if I'm Chamar, I'm getting some money out of this.

Nick (01:09:01.982)
But if you can get four, yeah, that's still good. So money out of it. Yeah, I agree. Dude's got seven, $70 million coming into him in the next three years.

Neil (01:09:03.876)
I'm getting four and money. Give me the money and four.

Nick (01:09:16.673)
I dunno.

Nick (01:09:20.38)
Next week, this is my idea for the show. All Derby.

Neil (01:09:29.06)
There's probably some other things that will pop up between now and then, I mean it's gonna be, it'll be Derby heavy.

Nick (01:09:36.968)
Maybe even try to get somebody on that can actually know what they're talking about.

Nick (01:09:45.672)
because I'm a fake handicapper. I've really tried since COVID to learn, but it's still very hard.

Neil (01:09:54.244)
Should we get Uncle Steve on here? Does he know much about the Derby horses yet? Has he studied them up?

Nick (01:09:57.643)
I think our knowledges are very similar when it comes to horses. But yeah, I think we need to be derby centric next week. And we're going to what, 5.0 Tuesday?

Neil (01:10:15.395)
So we'll be going on the track the next day.

Nick (01:10:19.018)
50 Tuesday, we got priced out of Thurby and now we're going to 50 Tuesday.

Neil (01:10:23.383)
didn't get priced out you're paying more for 502 days than you ever did for derby because you wanted to get the all you could eat drink booze

Nick (01:10:29.642)
didn't want to do anything. I got a text message saying this is where we're going. If you want to go, get one. This is how it happened to me.

Neil (01:10:35.555)
And you said, okay. So you're paying more than you ever did on a third of E just because you want to all you can drink booze. Yeah, it is a great deal. I heard we're coming to your house first to a little pre-party.

Nick (01:10:44.308)
Which, that's a good deal.

And we'll see.

Yeah, because yeah, it's gonna be great.

Neil (01:10:52.963)
You're gonna eat a week old salsaritas?

Nick (01:10:56.074)
It wasn't week old, it was a day old. I'm sick and tired of this. It was one day old.

Neil (01:10:57.643)
It was a week old. It was a week old. It had mold. The cheese was, there's mold growing on the cheese that you fed us.

Nick (01:11:05.47)
We had a derby party at work the day before.

Neil (01:11:08.205)
Nah, it was a week, week, bruh.

Nick (01:11:10.238)
No, it's just y'all are spoiled little... And who doesn't eat one day over leftover food anyways?

I mean, I cook for one, I live off of leftovers.

Neil (01:11:20.355)
That was some cold hard crusty cheese. That's all I know.

Nick (01:11:25.716)
Well, you don't know. You're listening to idiots. You're on the wrong side of this, and you can pick the right side.

Neil (01:11:32.767)
I was there. I did not partake in it because it looked gross. I ate the chicken minis from Chick-fil-A instead. Like a smart human.

Nick (01:11:38.292)
Well, that's what Salsaritas looks like then. Don't go to Salsaritas. Cause it's what it looked like the same day.

Neil (01:11:45.527)
That was a week old. It was definitely a

Nick (01:11:47.048)
It was one day of. It was one day of.

Neil (01:11:50.275)
Chips were stale, cheese was crusty, moldy.

Nick (01:11:53.643)
Ship's don't get sail in a day. Maybe they were given to us, Wasn't a week. It was from a derby party at work. What do you think, we had a derby party 40 days before we went to derby?

Neil (01:11:55.789)
That's why it was a week. That's why it was a week!

Neil (01:12:10.083)
Might have been last year at the therapy party. Might have been a whole year old salsuritas to be honest with you.

Nick (01:12:14.398)
Dude, I froze it and I brought it out. This is such stupidity.

Neil (01:12:16.535)
think you might've.

You are a hoarder of food.

Nick (01:12:22.91)
Such stupidity. I don't know. I got nothing else. I'm so mad right now.

Neil (01:12:26.123)
You're not gonna be able to pick up chicks by feeding them a week old Salsaritas, that's all I'm saying.

Nick (01:12:31.21)
It's not a week out. That's the problem with your theory. It's not a week out.

Neil (01:12:35.031)
Would you feed a new date a day old Salsa Rita's?

Nick (01:12:41.29)
If that's what we're having for dinner, yes. And if she's too spoiled to eat it, then I'd probably don't want to date her.

Neil (01:12:44.099)
It doesn't matter, is that what you're thinking for dinner? Like she comes over to the house, y'all gonna watch a movie, you're like, hey, you hungry? You hungry? Let me give you this week old salsa retis. And she'd be like, man, Nick, you really know how to treat a woman.

Nick (01:12:49.736)
No, that doesn't even make any sense why I would do that!

Nick (01:12:58.302)
Well, if she's a nice person, yes, that's probably what she would say and be grateful that she's got food in front of her. Yes. Because even if it is a week old and she doesn't appreciate it, then guess what? It's probably the last date. Because I did this for you. You should appreciate it. Just as you all came over my house, you should appreciate the food.

Neil (01:13:04.643)
Even though it's a week old.

Neil (01:13:16.738)
No!

Nobody's appreciating weak old food!

Nick (01:13:22.098)
It's not a week old! It's one day! And you know that's true! You're listening to the women! You are on the women's side, which means you're on the wrong side!

Neil (01:13:35.139)
You got a thing against women?

Nick (01:13:35.792)
Carl's the only one that ate it. Because Mandy said, this is a week old. I said, no, it's a day old. And everybody just went with the week old scenario.

Neil (01:13:45.165)
It was the likely scenario.

Nick (01:13:46.888)
And then meanwhile, Carl's is eating, this is delicious. And I'm eating and saying, this is delicious too. Cause we're not idiots.

Neil (01:13:54.149)
First of all, Carl is one of the biggest idiots that I know. him being on your side doesn't help your case.

Nick (01:13:57.695)
I know, but in this scenario he's not. Well, when it's one day, food, then I don't want to be on the other side.

Neil (01:14:07.598)
can't believe you would feed your friends, let alone your first date, a week old, Salsaratus.

Nick (01:14:08.243)
it was easy.

Nick (01:14:13.719)
I would not choose to give my first date weak old salsaritas, but if that was the only thing I could do and that was what presented itself and she wasn't appreciative of it, sayonara.

Neil (01:14:27.172)
I don't think you need to tell her son just like she'd already be gone.

Nick (01:14:30.858)
You could do that too. You know what? It was coming anyways, baby. So it don't matter. You can sign RME all you want.

Neil (01:14:38.052)
Then you're gonna end up on those bad dating sites. The ones that say like, we dating the same guy where they just trash you?

Careful ladies, he'll lure you in with his charm and then just feed you cold, week old, salsaritas and cheese.

Nick (01:14:54.696)
It doesn't, like the scenario doesn't even make sense. Like why would I have weak old salsaritas trying to feed it to a girl on a first date? Why would I ever do that? It doesn't even make sense. I never even did that to my friends. I did that one day old salsaritas.

Neil (01:14:57.068)
It makes sense. I thought I'd get to coli from the lettuce.

Neil (01:15:04.356)
I don't know, maybe you-

Neil (01:15:10.372)
Maybe you're like cozied up on the couch watching a movie, you get little hungry, dig into the fridge and it's a week old Salsarita's, that's all you got. And you would still pull it out and feed it to her.

Nick (01:15:17.438)
Well, and guess what? She's probably gonna be like, this looks delicious, and not ask how many days old it is.

Nick (01:15:26.846)
Yeah, yeah. Because I'm not trying to date an asshole. I'm trying to date a nice person who is appreciative, who is appreciative of the food presented to them.

Neil (01:15:31.298)
You need to treat women better. You need to treat your women better. Better than wheat gold salsaritas.

Nick (01:15:42.002)
Unbelievable. can't I'm actually I might do it again. Just I might order sorcery this three days before just for me Just so I can do it again

Neil (01:15:50.436)
I'm gonna throw it your pool.

Nick (01:15:56.043)
Oh, I hope the pulls won't open my damn... Wait... Wait, huh?

Neil (01:15:58.725)
It's not pool season. said it's almost pool season.

Nick (01:16:02.954)
I know I'm excited. I'm excited. I don't know. I ain't got nothing else. I'm getting really upset over this false narrative that I hand out week old food when it's really day old and still delicious. And just trying to give my friends who I know are going to be doing a lot of drinking to get their belly filled up a little bit so they're not walking around looking like idiots. But.

And look, and now I'm going to hang out with the same non appreciative people again, which that's on me. That's on me for not finding better people to hang out with.

Neil (01:16:35.236)
That's on you.

Neil (01:16:39.16)
Well, when we get off here you can go stew about it while you your like three week old Domino's pizza that's probably in your fridge.

Nick (01:16:48.648)
No, I already told you what I had tonight. I made some sausage, some cabbage, some tomatoes. Delicious. would definitely serve that to whoever is my first date.

Neil (01:16:59.172)
Were they expired?

Nick (01:17:04.148)
doesn't even make sense.

Neil (01:17:05.76)
expired sausages.

Nick (01:17:08.604)
No. It doesn't even make sense.

Neil (01:17:11.31)
Makes a lot of sense.

Nick (01:17:13.298)
If you're watching live or catching this later, make sure to subscribe to the height differential rate and leave a review. You can also follow us on social at height differential. I don't know if I'll probably put this one on as a short just to.

I don't know. I really don't know what to do. False narrative.

Neil (01:17:31.342)
Ladies, ladies if you're listening steer clear of the men that feed you wheat-gold salsaritas. Have a good night.

Nick (01:17:37.578)
steer clear steer clear I don't think I need any more warnings I need more like I don't need more negative publicity I need all the positive pub I'm get I mean just 15 minutes ago we talked about me getting run by the chase by the cops just so I could potentially get some pub on tinder so

Neil (01:17:39.876)
Hmm.

Neil (01:17:56.197)
I will say, I went and saw Tammy last week to get me a fresh cut. Every time I go in there, she's thinking of new ideas for us to find you a girl to get married to. So she's working on it on your behalf. She hasn't come up with any ideas yet, but she's working on it.

Nick (01:18:07.626)
Yeah. Actions speak louder than words is what I would say.

And also, I went and saw her today.

Neil (01:18:17.838)
think she might want to take you to a gay club, that's neither here nor there.

Nick (01:18:22.58)
Yeah, I'm in.

I don't really want to go. would go, but I ain't trying to find a date there. So that's all I got. the 6-6, Neil, I am the 4-10, Nick. I'm sorry we got off on this tangent. But we will be back next week to talk Derby. It will be Derby week. You excited?

Neil (01:18:48.334)
Giddy up.
